My soon-to-be-husband is captivated by The Venture Brothers lately. I find it funny, but there is just something about adult cartoons that I can't get into. I find them all funny and can watch them in small doses but some people I know can watch uninterrupted HOURS of the Family Guy, or the Simpsons. I do especially enjoy King of the Hill, but it is most 'sitcom'-like of all of them, and it doesn't hurt that I have a soft spot for Mike Judge.
Anyway, as I watched an episode of the afore-linked venture bros., this quote from one of the super villains on the show, The Monarch, struck me as notably snarky: 'World domination...Please! I'll leave that to the religious nuts and the republicans!'.
And I can respect any show willing to say that.
